oscar awardPick up an Oscar prediction ballot at the library. Fill it out and return it by Saturday, Feb. 23rd and you could win a prize if you accurately predict the winners of the four categories on the ballot. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, Feb. 26th.

After the Oscars are over, come watch an Oscar worthy movie “First Man” with us on Monday, the 25th at 5:30 pm. Free popcorn will be available!

March Book Madness 2019

Your Prediction for 2019 Book of the Year

Turn in your March Book Madness bracket picks before 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 8th to qualify for a chance to win a tournament trophy. If you predict the correct winning book you will also win! You can turn in your predictions either in person with a paper form or online.

And don’t forget to vote for your favorite books each week – The first round ballots to select the Elite Eight are due Friday, March 8th by 4:30 p.m.

Weekly Prize Drawings

After all the votes are tallied each week, all the people who voted, either in person or online, will be entered into a drawing for fun prizes. There will be a separate weekly drawing for each of the three tournaments: Adult Books, Teen Books, and Kids Books. You can increase your chances of winning by voting for more than one tournament! Winners of the drawings must be able come to the library to pick up their prizes.

Closed for Presidents’ Day

Free popcorn and water are available and feel free to bring your own soda if you’d like!

Beginner’s 3D Printing Workshop

Do you have questions about 3D printing? Come to our beginner’s workshop to learn how to use the library’s 3D printer.

We will walk through the process of finding a print-ready file online that you can print as is or alter to fit your needs.
