Spring Book Sale

It’s Book Sale time once again! The sale will be held April 8th – 12th during regular library hours.

Our Book Sale Reception is open to everyone this year. On Monday at 6 p.m., come in for refreshments and have first pick of the items on sale. All items will sell for $1.00 each except for paperpacks, which will be $0.50 each.

  • Tuesday through Thursday – paperbacks will be $0.50 each and all other items will be $1 each
  • Friday – $1 bag day ($1 for every bag full of books)

Funds from the Book Sale go to the Friends of the Library to help support library programs including Baby’s Bookshelf, Budding Bookworms, Summer Reading Program, etc.

Movie: Spider-man - Into the Spider-verse

Spring Break Activities at the Library

Monday, March 11th and Wednesday, March 13th – game day at 2 PM –  we’ll have games of all kinds! Board games, video games, card games, etc.

Tuesday, March 12th and Thursday, March 14 – craft day at 2 PM

Friday, March 15th – movie and popcorn at 2 PM – “Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald”

Oscar Prediction Contest and Movie

oscar awardPick up an Oscar prediction ballot at the library. Fill it out and return it by Saturday, Feb. 23rd and you could win a prize if you accurately predict the winners of the four categories on the ballot. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, Feb. 26th.

After the Oscars are over, come watch an Oscar worthy movie “First Man” with us on Monday, the 25th at 5:30 pm. Free popcorn will be available!

Weekly Voting

Vote for your favorite books each week – The third round ballots to select the Two Finalists are due Friday, March 22nd by 4:30 p.m. You can vote either in person with a paper form or online.

Weekly Prize Drawings

After all the votes are tallied each week, all the people who voted, either in person or online, will be entered into a drawing for fun prizes. There will be a separate weekly drawing for each of the three tournaments: Adult Books, Teen Books, and Kids Books. You can increase your chances of winning by voting for more than one tournament! Winners of the drawings must be able come to the library to pick up their prizes.

Movie - 50 First Dates
