Text: Ans May 22-72 + sent back annals of Wyo + 2 magazines. April 30th 72 Friend Harry: Recieved your magazines thanks. injoyed them very much. You mentioned me taking a add in a magazine, I only have about 350 books lieft and they sell quite fast. I have had a column in a local paper here and get lots of letters wanting books. (next paragraph) If you see fit to run this story that was in the annals of Wyo in one of your magazines you can have the story for the add. I doubt very much if these magazines today the way the have the cowboy undertood by the present day readers, would want an authenic explanation of what a real cowboy wa. Wish I could spell & type. Over (next paragraph) Of course if we still had the wide open spaces, range, and cattle we would still have some dam good cowboys. If you can run this article O.K. Please send me the annals of Wyo back as it is the only one I have. You still have our invitation to visit a couple old timers. Ed

Text: R.E. Helvey P.O. Box 38 Big Horn, Wyoming 82833; July 24, 1972 Harry, I certainly enjoyed the Ed Wright book. He, as you said did not give the correct names of some of the people and places but I was able to recognize most of them. He had quite a life. I also like the magazines --- good reading. Thought you might like the story about Jack on the back page of the paper. Come see us again Sincerely, Bob
