The Sweet Sixteen
The list of sweet sixteen books is made up of the most checked out books in our library during the last two years. Vote for your favorites and earn a chance to win prizes in our weekly drawings. Each week we will tally the votes to narrow down the list of book contestants until only one remains. The remaining book will be our 2020 Book of the Year!
Your Prediction for 2020 Book of the Year
Turn in your March Book Madness bracket picks before 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 6th to qualify for a chance to win a tournament trophy. If you predict the correct winning book you will also win! You can turn in your predictions either in person with a paper form or online.
Weekly Prize Drawings
After all the votes are tallied each week, all the people who voted, either in person or online, will be entered into a drawing for fun prizes. There will be a separate weekly drawing for each of the three tournaments: Adult Books, Teen Books, and Kids Books. You can increase your chances of winning by voting for more than one tournament! Winners of the drawings must be able come to the library to pick up their prizes.
