Closed for Memorial Day

The Library will be closed on Monday, May 31st for Memorial Day. We will be open on the following Tuesday for our regular hours.

Summer Reading Kick Off Party

On Tuesday May 25th from 2 to 4 pm, sign up for Summer Reading and join us for fun, games & food!

Anime Drawing Class

On June 8th at 4 pm, we will have a fun class on learning how to draw an anime character. You will be given some tips and tricks on how to better your skill! Sign up now to save your spot.

May Grab and Go Teen Crafts – Book Hedgehog

The craft will be available for the entire month or until supplies run out, supplies are limited so hurry in to get yours! Once you get your craft go online to facebook, instagram, or twitter and find us, Liberal Memorial Library, to view our tutorial video on how to do the craft. A paper tutorial will be included in the kit, viewing the video is not required to do the craft.

Teen Volunteer Opportunities

This program is open to anyone ages 11 to 18 or between grades 6-12. With everything that is going on in the world right now, I wanted to provide volunteer opportunities for those who need it which are virtual or off-site. In-person opportunities may become available in the future. How It Works: Please begin by completing this Google form. Virtual Teen Otaku Club May

This month we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of Spirited Away! We will meet on Wednesday, May 26th at 5 p.m. on zoom. Pick up a copy of Spirited Away to watch in advance and sign up to join us on zoom for trivia, bingo, and a discussion on Spirited Away! Sign up to get the zoom room info & obtain a copy of the DVD to watch the movie. There will be prizes for the winner of the games and a box of pocky for each person that signs up!

Spring Book Sale

The book sale is open to the public Tuesday, October 15th through Friday the 18th during regular library hours and Saturday the 19th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday – paperbacks will be $0.50 each and all other items will be $1 each. Friday and Saturday – $1 for every bag full of books and $3 for every box full of books.
