We had so many amazing haunted houses entered into our haunted house contest. Take a look at our winners! Miriam received first place, Yisel and Liset received second place, and Jaxon received third place. Good job everyone! The houses will be on display until Halloween.
Teen DIY Spellbook Craft
On Oct. 13th, middle schoolers & high schoolers came to the library for a spooky craft.
Teen H2O Party 2022
On Friday, August 5th at 3 pm, we had water based games on the front lawn. Teens had fun with water balloons and a frozen t-shirt race.
Mad Science 2022 – Amazing Oceans
On Friday, July 1st at 11 am, Mad Science came to the library to present Amazing Oceans as part of our Ocean of Possibilities Summer Reading Program.
How do fish rise and sink in water? Why do some fish light up in the dark? What other mysteries lie within the murky deep?
Container Gardening Craft 2022
On Thursday, June 30th at 2 pm, we learned about container gardening while having fun planting seeds and decorating a flowerpot to take home! Presented by the Wild West District of K-State Research and Extension.

Teen & Adult Craft: Bubble Art
On Tuesday, June 21st at 2 pm, teens & adults created bubble art at the library. We used oil pastels on black paper to really make our bubble creations pop!
Aaron Fowler “Climb Onboard the Boat” 2022
Musician Aaron Fowler and his trained therapy dogs came to the library on Tuesday, June 21st at 11 am with his “Climb Onboard the Boat” Summer Reading program.
There was singing, moving, playing instruments, and sharing stories, including stories from the latest book in the Bella and Choco series, The Boat.
Llamas at the Library 2022
Christina Abel brought llamas to the library on Thursday, June 16th at 11 am as part of the Summer Reading program.
Smoky Hills PBS Share-a-story 2022
A big thank you to Smoky Hills PBS Share-a-story presenter Jennifer Hanson who came to the library and read “Wild Sea Creatures: Sharks, Whales, and Dolphins a Wild Kratts story” followed by a craft and video. Everyone had lots of fun!

Victoria Zamora had the closest guess in our contest to guess the correct number of candy hearts. She guessed 800 and there were actually 821. Congrats Victoria!

On Thursday, Oct. 14th we got together for a Pumpkin Decorating Day. Each person was given a small pumpkin to decorate.
