We’re planning now for our Fall Storytimes! And, we’d love to get your input on the best times to hold storytimes.

Storytimes help build early literacy skills with books, songs, and a craft!

If you are interested in bringing your child(ren) to storytime this fall, please fill out the short survey

Games and a Movie

Play fun board and card games at 1:00 p.m. followed by a movie at 2:00 p.m.

When: Fridays at 1:00 during Summer Reading
Where: In the downstairs activity area

We will be serving free popcorn and lemonade!

Building Challenge – Summer Reading

Budding Bookworms

Starting June 1st
Every child gets a free book at every storytime.

  • Studies confirm that the number of books in the home
    directly predicts reading achievement.
  • Children who grew up with books in their homes reached
    a higher level of education than those who did not.

Join us for storytime this Summer:

Birth to age 3: Tuesdays at 11:15 am
Ages 4-6: Thursdays at 11:15 am
Ages 7-11: Tuesdays at 2 pm

Kids Summer Reading Signup

Kids, Signup for Summer Reading during the month of May.

You can sign-up for Summer Reading online or pick up a paper signup sheet at the Circulation Desk. The reading logs are available online or at the Circulation Desk.

Parents may sign their children up to just read or they may bring them to our weekly sessions for their age group.  There are special programs for the entire family throughout summer reading.

The reading logs must be filled out and returned to the library by July 28th to earn prizes. See more information
