cloudLibrary offers many bestselling eBooks and Audiobooks for all ages. All you need is a Kansas Library eCard to check out from cloudLibrary.
Get a Kansas Library eCard
Contact our library or any library in Kansas to get a Kansas Library eCard (which is different than a Liberal Memorial Library Card). The State Library of Kansas works with Kansas libraries to provide digital library books for all residents.
Easy to get started
- Download the cloudLibrary app from your app store.
- Select your country – United States, state – Kansas, and library – State Library of Kansas – Capitol Building.
- Your Library Card ID will by your Kansas Library eCard number.
- Your PIN/Password will by your birthdate in the MM/DD/YYYY format.
Checkouts and Lending Period
Borrow up to ten books at a time. Books will checkout for 21 days. If you finish early, you can return your checked out books from within the app. Otherwise your checkouts will return automatically after 21 days. They will be automatically removed from your device.
Holds and Renewals
Place a hold on up to ten books at a time. Use the Cloud Library app to get email notifications when your books are available. If a hold is not checked out within 3 days, it will be passed on to the next user. You can renew your checkout if no one else has a hold on it. A renewal button will appear next to the checkout under ‘My Books’ in the Cloud Library app three days before your book returns automatically.
Suggestions
If you can’t find the book you want, you can send a request to the State Library of Kansas to add it to the collection.
