Game Day
Join us to play video games, board games and card games. On April 6th, the games start at 4 pm. On April 20th, starting at 4:30 pm we’ll have a special “battle the staff” game day. Test your skills against some of the library staff.
This event is open to all ages, bring a friend or family member to try out a new game!
Mahjong
Do you love to play Mahjong? Are you interested in learning a new game to play with family and friends? Every Friday at 1 pm, we will get together for a fun game of Mahjong here at the library. Think Gin Rummy using tiles! Learn the rules of this traditional Chinese game and play some Mahjong. No experience necessary. For adults only.

The Library will be closed on
Friday, April 7th and Saturday, April 8th for Good Friday and Easter
We will reopen on Monday at 9 a.m.
Spring Book Sale
Support the library and pick up some good deals at our book sale Tuesday, April 25th – Saturday, April 29th during regular library hours.
Tues-Thurs – paperbacks will be $0.50 each and all other items will be $1 each.
Fri-Sat – $1 for every bag full of books and $2 for every box full of books.
Funds from the Book Sale go to the Friends of the Library to help support library programs including Baby’s Bookshelf, Budding Bookworms, Summer Reading Program, etc.
On Monday evening, April 24th from 6 pm – 7:30 pm, there will be an exclusive first pick Book Sale reception for current and new Friends of the Library members only.
Sign up to become a Friend of the Library today. You can renew your membership by paying online with PayPal or in person at the library.

Poetry Night
On Wednesday April 12th at 6 pm, join us at the library for a chance to share your favorite poem, read an original composition, or just listen to the works selected by our community.
All ages are welcome to join with contests being held for best recitation of a well-known poem and best original composition.

Oscar Movie Showing: Puss in Boots: The Last Wish

On Friday, March 17th at 3 pm, come and enjoy a showing of the Oscar nominated Puss in Boots: The Last Wish with free popcorn! Feel free to bring your own drink, and snacks!
In this new DreamWorks animated movie, our hero must journey to find the mystical Last Wishing Star to restore the first eight of his nine lives.

Super Mario Party
All ages are welcome to our celebration of Mario Day! Friday, March 10th at 3 pm, we will play fun games and even have a real Mario Kart race.
Bad Art: Bob Ross Edition
Are you bad at art? Fantastic! Join us on Monday, March 13th at 4:30 pm for Bad Art: Bob Ross Edition. Try to follow along to a Bob Ross tutorial, using limited supplies and make a one of a kind masterpiece!
Oscar Movie Showing: Black Panther Wakanda Forever
On Tuesday, March 7th at 5 pm, come and enjoy a showing of the Oscar nominated Black Panther: Wakanda Forever with free popcorn! Feel free to bring your own drink, and snacks!

Oscars Prediction Contest

Who will win an Oscar in 2023? If you predict the Oscar winners, you could win a prize! Starting Monday February 27th come in to the library to get a ballot. Fill it out and return it by Saturday, March 11th. The closest predictions will be entered into a prize drawing. The winners of the Oscars Prediction Contest will be announced on March 13th.
