Summer Reading Sign-up starts on Monday, May 19th. Starting May 19th, visit https://lmlibrary.org/srp2025/ to sign up and to see more information. After you’ve signed up, come in to the library to pick up your reading log and Summer Reading calendar (english or spanish).
On June 2nd at noon, join us in kicking off our Summer at the library with games, prizes, food followed by a performance by Dan Dan the Magic Man at 1pm!

Summer Reading, you’ve been a real page-turner! Unfortunately, all good stories must come to an end, but what a blast we had at our end of Summer Reading party on July 12th!
Thank you Jefferson Knapp for entertaining us on July 1st with your tales of how you came up with the characters for your books, especially the giant scary snake!
All we needed were peanuts and popcorn to complete the circus atmosphere when Richard Renner, the extraordinary juggler, performed his Circus Arts act at the library on June 27th. Both children and adults had a blast watching his wild antics!
On Tuesday, June 18th, Jennifer Hanson from Smoky Hills PBS came to our library to present Share A Story “Nature Cat”. The kids listened to a story, watched a video, and did a fun craft.
Musician Aaron Fowler came to the library with his a trained therapy dog on Thursday, June 20th to present his “The Adventure Begins Today!” Summer Reading program.
