Teens, on Monday, Feb. 10th at 5 pm, have a Val-U-Time day! Explore different ways to celebrate self care and self love with activities such as positivity jars, coloring, yoga (at 5 pm) and therapy dogs (at 6 pm).
On Thursday, Feb. 27th at 4 pm, celebrate PokƩmon day with us by creating your own fakƩmon (fake PokƩmon), going on a scavenger hunt to find lost PokƩmon, and creating your own PokƩball!
Liberal High Schoolers, Liberal Memorial Library will be at the High School for a drop in make and take DIY event on Wednesday, Jan. 29th. Paint a kindness rock or make a rock photo holder.
Join us on Saturday, February 8th at 1 pm for our Teen Otaku Club! Are you between the ages of 11 – 18 years old and like anime and manga? Or know someone that does?
On Thursday, Jan. 23rd at 6 pm, watch a new animated version of an old favorite at the library. An eccentrically macabre family moves to a suburb where Wednesday Addams’ friendship with the daughter of a hostile neighbor causes conflict between the families.
The Library will be closed on Monday, January 20th for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We will reopen on Tuesday for our regular hours.
On Monday, January 6th between 1 and 4 pm, come play video and board games at the library! We have all kinds of games to play.
Starting January 7th, the Library is challenging any 6th-12th grader in Seward County to write a story with just six words. Students may submit up to two original six word stories.
The library will close at 1 pm on Tuesday, December 31st and will be closed on Wednesday, January 1st for New Year’s Day.
We will reopen for normal hours on Thursday, 2nd – 9:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m.
