Vision Board Class

On February 14th at Noon, the library will host a Vision Board Class presented by Kylee Harrison of the K-State Research and Extension office. Want to learn and experience a fun way to clarify and visualize your goals? A vision board is a tool to help you focus and move yourself closer your goals. Participants will develop their goals and make their own board. Signup online or call 620-626-0180. You must provide an email for a pre-class survey.

Liberal High Schoolers, Liberal Memorial Library will be at the High School for a drop in make and take DIY event on Wednesday, Jan. 29th. Paint a kindness rock or make a rock photo holder.

On Thursday, Jan. 23rd at 6 pm, watch a new animated version of an old favorite at the library. An eccentrically macabre family moves to a suburb where Wednesday Addams’ friendship with the daughter of a hostile neighbor causes conflict between the families.

On Saturday, Jan. 18th at 1 pm, celebrate the great author A.A. Milne with us at a party all about the bear with the rumbly tumbly. We will be showing a Winnie the Pooh movie and have themed crafts and coloring pages.

On Wednesday, January 8th and 22nd from 2 to 4 pm – join our Spinning Yarns group and spend time with other adults who share your interest in crochet, knitting, or other needlework! Bring your own materials. Beginners to experts, are all welcome.

On Monday, January 6th between 1 and 4 pm, come play video and board games at the library! We have all kinds of games to play.

6 Word Story Contest

Starting January 7th, the Library is challenging any 6th-12th grader in Seward County to write a story with just six words. Students may submit up to two original six word stories.
